What particle can or can't it accelerate?

    it can accelerate protons and lead ions. higgs boson is actually a particle expected to be created, not accelerated. but the experiment has been postponed due to certain problems in the cooling.

    To my knowledge there going strip hydrogen atoms of electrons...and if it does not work the way they want they have to find a new element. I also herd lead atoms are going to work.

    It failed already so forget about it. They never found that "god particle" so that means it takes scientists one step close into finally believing in God.

    the higgs boson i think... well that's what it's searching for idk if that's what it's accelerating or not.
