Christians...do you believe there is water above the atmosphere?

1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

1:7 And God made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

Update:

Book Of Genesis

Update 2:

You are aware that if water existed above the atmosphere in quantities large enough to cause the flood, the sun wouldn't be able to get through and the planet would be covered in darkness until the flood...

There was water above the atmosphere. When the Flood occurred, it emptied, which is why it no longer exists.

On Day Two God made an expanse by causing a division to occur “between the waters and the waters.” Some waters remained on the earth, but a great amount of water was raised high above the surface of the earth, and in between these two there came to be an expanse. God called the expanse Heaven, but this was with relation to the earth, as the waters suspended above the expanse are not said to have enclosed stars or other bodies of the outer heavens.—Ge 1:6-8; It included our atmosphere. Here God provided exactly the right proportion of gases, mainly nitrogen and oxygen, to sustain the plants and breathing creatures that he would produce later. He made this atmosphere just right for pleasant living, and to serve as a protection from meteors and harmful radiation.

    James, James, James, buddy, pal.

You erroronously neglect the dimensions of the universe,

the Hubble telescope cannot clearly picture the nebula, as the distortions caused by H2O greatly affects our ability to see the farthest reaches of the universe.

    and

you have not done your research my friend.
