What the heck could this dream mean?
I will do the best I can to explain this.
My ex-wife came to pick up my daughter, after she gets her I am walking to my car that wasn't there. So I was walking to the train and saw some people fishing. as I walked over to them, someone was casting their line and caught my thumb, I screamed and as i pulled the hook out, half my thumb fell off. I put it in my pocket and said I needed a ride to the hospital, but as we were going to the car to get to the hospital, we ended up in a mall. I was showing my thumb to alot of people and I was asking them something (I don't know what I was asking them)
From there I was leaving a go go bar through the back entrance, there was a boat ramp and i had my boat there. While I was leaving, someone told me that one of the dancers (who I used to date in real life) had killed one of my kids.
So now I still have half my thumb in my pocket and I am looking for this dancer to hurt her.
Thats about it the best I can do to put it into words
Any thoughts as to what this could mean?

This dream appears to be a message to get your life together. You have many many things going on. Your means of transportation is gone in the dream. For a man that is very traumatic. Then the fishing, which means fertility has hurt you by snagging your thumb, making you lose that appendage. I don't need to tell you what that implies. You are unable to get any means of transportation, train, another riade, to take you to the hospital so you can be healed. You need healing but you are not aware of what is ailing you, hence you don't know what assistance to ask for. At the present rate you are going someone may be injured very badly (or even killed). Watch your associates. Protect your children. You are blindly going out impotently (with no thumb -- remember, it's not your thumb) and you are seeking revenge, vengeance against people who you knew were not good people when you met them. (How low can you go - the back entrace of a gogo bar?)
The good news! Your subconscious is seeking help. This dream interpretation is just the start of many events that will lead you to a path where you will be in alignment with the will of good. A boat always symbolizes a trip into the subconscious. Don't be distracted by idle gossip. You had no proof that your child was killed. It was a distraction to keep you from the boat that would lead you onto a path where your life would be meaningful and good, a life where your children can be proud of you and you can be the father that you want to be for them.

You definitely feel wounded by your ex wife: this is why you have the thumb issue. You are not going to like my interpretation of why the thumb is wounded: your ex wife is no longer under your thumb and you cannot control her. The key to that interpretation is that you state your ex-wife came to pick up "MY" daughter. It is actually "OUR" daughter. You look at people as possessions and things. YOUR GREATEST LOSS IS THE LOSS OF CONTROL.
Transportation is also a symbol of forward movement, and there is a lot of here: a car, train, and boat. But the car is missing (symbol of not knowing how to move forward AND an idea that your ex wife took from you materially).
You go through a series of searching for things to take your attention or make you feel better, but they are only superficial things: fishing or looking for other things; the hospital; the mall; you show your wound to a lot of people, so I am sure you let other's know how she wounded you; the go go bar (with the back entrance so you can hide that you go there). But I notice you don't search for spiritual things to make you feel better.
Your life will not change, but repeat itself over and over and over again UNLESS you make some changes to become a better person. Currently, your goal is not to become a better person, but to store your anger and show everyone how wounded you are. Best to search INSIDE, not outside.
I believe that the dancer is symbolic of your wife taking away (which to you is like death) your child(ren). I am worried that you want to "hurt her." It is a reflect on your anger and your loss of control. Why not get some therapy from a licensed therapist in your area, start reading on spiritual matters, and join a healthy multi-gender divorce support group so that you can see the other side of the story: women who left abusive and/or controlling men.

Thes type of dreams ve no meanings attached ,they r jumbled ,and confused ,so dont bother ,they happen due to many reasons ,such as physically or mentally upset ,angry etc. TRUE dreams r the facts shown and in reality take place, if this doesnot happen the dream has no value

1) you obviously love your daughter and you are insecure (sub consciously) if not consciously.
2) Though you have moved on, you perhaps do not trust other women in your life, the way you used to trust your ex-wife's good will towards you and your daughter.
3) there is some sort of turmoil or scar in your life, due to some recent events in your life.
4) It comments on your (mild or intense) alignment towards being revengeful.
