The statement is not true. In India also, there are several Chinese immigrants, living in perfect harmony since long. They have been living for generations. In Indian Idol 3, one Chinese boy went on to become one of the top three, it is a different matter that he wasn't Chinese anymore except for the looks. he has become as Indian as any can be.
I am sure there would be similar stories about Indians in China.
If you talk about Politicians, well, they are not different from politicians of other countries.
On certain issues, again there could be different perceptions/ differences... but that could be said for most of the mankind!

Where? When? One cannot make a universal statement of this type. There are many countries where different ethnic groups live in true harmony with no problems. In Malaysia, Singapore, Not only the Chinese and Indians but Malays as well live in great unity working together in the labour force and in civic societies. The statement is not true.

uh? so completely not true. besides, how can you label two entire countries as 'not getting along well'? it's true that they have different cultures and a lot of things from each side are shocking to the others
(especially eating habits) but you can't say that indians and chinese clash on a regular basis. it's bull
