If you wanted to "Hide" about $20 K, how would you do it?
I want to hide my savings into a SURE-THING; NO gambling deals. I don't want the family or legalized-Snoops to be able to find it out, for I want it to be my ACE in the hole for emergencies later on. Please, NO jokers answer this.
Note: This is Legal Money, taxes paid, through SAVING. It is in a bank CD now, but would like to make it more private. Kids has a way of draining one dry, & the Credit Co's Loves to snoop & see what everyone has.. It wouldn't be safe in the house or yard, either one.

If the money is currently in a bank/investment, you really can't hide the withdrawal.
But, you could open a safety deposit box and keep the money there.
Also, there is always the option of burying it in the yard, but if your neighbors are nosy, you may not "find" it later.
And the "legalized" snoops can always find info on things like safety deposit boxes. Just make sure you keep a few important papers in it, so when asked you can say you use if for your birth certificate, passport, deeds, titles, etc.

No joke: under the mattress. If you want ready cash hidden not leaving a trace for the legalized snoops to find out about it, that is the best advice.
I can't advise you on anything illegal. It's your responsibility how you got the 20k or how you plan to evade taxes.
