Why do Obama supporters believe that McCain crashed 5 planes?

But okay - three crashes, not counting the Forrestal incident and the plane he was flying when he was shot down.

Your point is what? That he was a good fighter pilot who only crashed 3 planes instead of 5? Therefore he should be our next President?

Ummm... okay. I hear ya.

Because being a good pilot gives him expertise in dealing with the economy? Because being a good pilot gives him expertise in developing a sound policy on energy for the future? How about on a fair tax policy? How about on international relations? How about sound judgement in selecting a qualified person as VP who may have to succeed him early? Does being a good pilot give you that expertise?

Any other military pilot who caused an international incident with a foreign country by "daredevil clowning" would have had their wings taken away and demoted to deck officer on an ice breaker patrolling the antartic.

But when your dad is a prominant 4 star admiral, you get special treatment. And that happened to McCain repeatedly throughout his military career.

I wonder how long it took McCain to realize this after he was captured by the North Vietnamese? Honestly, if his wings had been revoked after the daredevil clowning, he wouldn't have ever been shot down over Vietnam.

Your link states he crashed and lost 4 planes. The 5th he took out some power lines while clowning around, but did not actually crash. You say not even close?? That is pretty close to me.

whilst i've got confidence this is probable real for different human beings, i do no longer think of i think soft generalizing to what is going on in "maximum" human beings's minds. it rather is a rather huge brush you're portray with there.

I dont know where this rumor came from, but as an Obama supporter i would certainly admit that it is not true.

But there are plenty of rumors that mccain's camp has sent out, from obama being a muslim, obama being a socialist, obama forging his birth certificate that are also not true.
