ive had so many surprise parties if i don't have one im SURPRISED! lol but really i think their great, yeah you can get pretty down when everyone is "busy" but when they all surprise you, its shows you how much they care and the effort it took for them to hide it from you and plan everything just for your own enjoyment! you have to have pretty great friends if you get a party that u didn't know about! don't wish em' away, hope for more! ;D

I think they are great as long as you think that you are going for a meal or something and have had the opportunity to get dressed up.
I don't think it is nice when people let them believe that they have been forgotten about - that's a bit cruel.

the surprise party should be no surprise if the party to be surprised is at a party other than the surprise party.
to be surprised you must be at the surprise party and not be party to the surprise.the surpriser will be surprised if the party who's party it is is not at the surprise party where the surprise is to take place,

I'm a planner - I like to anticipate things in a big way so surprise parties suck buck for me. I don't like them - they catch me offguard and then I just get moody.
