Does anyone actually care?

I prefer to take in the facts on a candidate and make my own decision. Endorsements are meaningless. Those that make a decision on who to vote for based on an endorsement are too lazy to think for themselves and prefer to be puppets.

The majority of the time I vote along party lines so who endorses whom really matters little to me. If anything Im more likely to vote 'the other ' candidate if the endorsement comes from someone/ group I disagree with.

I dont care at all either. Powell can endorse whoever he wants. That will not change anything. It is not like Powell is a great powerful Republican leader or anything. Also, lets say Oprah endorsed McCain,I doubt anyone would care. lol ;o)

I don't care who rich people endorse. They are not looking for the same things as I.

Colin Powell's endorsement of Obama is pretty significant since he is a Republican and worked on Bush's staff. Even though it doesn't affect my vote, I still think it's pretty interesting, especially his criticisms of McCain's negative campaigning and of Palin's lack of experience.

Any time a major political figure breaks rank with their party and does something dramatic across party lines, it is always newsworthy.

So...yes, I do care.

Not really. Especially with someone like Powell. I doubt we'll see many of his republican supporters deciding to ditch McCain and republican beliefs because Powell endorsed Obama...
