Leather coat cracked?

What can you put on a leather coat to keep it from cracking along the collar?

mink oil. It would have been better if you would have oiled your coat every year because if it is starting to crack, it has dried out a bit and I would guess its a couple years old. Then again, depending on the design, and your personal style, on some leather coats the worn look, looks good.

"Saddle soap" will soften the leather but if it is already cracking you may not be able to save it. Any leather oil product will help. I use snow repellant (which is mostly beeswax) on my leather stuff. You can use GoJo which is a lanolin based hand cleaner sold at auto parts stores.
