Well if hes really shy, in this case he probably likes you. Ignoring is one of the main things a shy boy does when they like a girl. Shy guys tend to ignore the girl they like because they dont know how to react or talk to you. However, if he shows barely any interest in you, [for ex: completly ignores you because hes busy with someone else, or just because he doesnt feel like talking to you]then he probably considers you just a friend. But if he flirts with you and it seems totally out of his nature. Then yes, he probably likes you.

hi, im in 10th grade in high school and im not shy, but i have two friends who have the same exact problem as your friend. He might just be afraid to talk to you sometimes in certain situations. Now this isnt for sure because not all guys are the same but you're most likely going to have to be the one to make any of the moves. Good luck and i hope this helps.

Get a bunch of your friends together and invite him to go do something with you.

Or just go up and break the ice yourself. If you are both shy you could be missing out on a good thing here.

i know a lot of guys like that and first off, there gunna hurt you no matter how shy or outgoing they are. they will leave you flat on your face.

but i dont know him. mabey take it up a level and see how he responds. try doing something outside of swimming and then if he says yes and you do that a couple times then he likes you fi not then hurryon to the next milf.

Sorry, but he sounds like he just wants to be your friend. thats what guys do when they wanna be friends. if he really liked you already, he would make a move or talk to you any chance he had. just stay friends for now and see what happenss. You never know, maybe he will start to like you as more then just a friend.

Coming from a guy it is very hard for us to express our feelings. everybody is different. im trying to change the way i act around a girl i like usually im mean to her and that eventually pushes her away. Just ask him out go for it. Have courage. even if your not sure he likes you. make him like you girls have that power over guys

he may not be a jerk if he flirts with you then ignores you he probely likes you. When i start flirtin with a girl and they dont respond i ignore them for a while to make then "miss" me then i might start flirtin with them again. Its like a big cycle until you go on a date or somthin

i'm going through the same thing. i think he is just not sure if he likes you or not. he may be experimenting and flirting with other girls too and has not yet decided who he actually likes. i think for now, try talking to him about it. say,"hey, i really need to talk to you about something" most likely he'll listen.
