How did you help your nausea?

I am 8 weeks pregnant and have been lucky so far with no morning sickness. I just get nauseated almost like car sick at night and dizzy. And there are days I can't get out of bed. I sometimes wonder if I do throw up it will make me feel better. What remedies helped you?

I'm pregnant with twins, and all I read was how I would get double the morning sickness, but all I felt was nauseated all the time. My doctor told me to start taking b6, which helps with morning sickness and hangovers. I also ate dried ginger, which helped me alot. Also soda helped me, but not diet. The times I did throw up, which only started happening once I hit 14-15 weeks, made me feel alot better. I wouldn't make yourself throw up, but don't try avoiding it either.

    Hope this helps.

I am the same way. No morning sickness and I am 10 weeks. I have a box of Teddy Grams next to my bed. When I wake up, I eat a few and drink some water before I even sit up.

When I get 'car sick' I do the same thing. It's kind of a hassle, but its worth it. I also hear that ginger calms morning sickness.

Ginger in any form. I would buy fresh ginger root at the grocery store (just about every store sells it), cut a piece off and peel it. Then I would put it into a cup of hot tea or even iced tea and sip it. Also, there is a ginger candy called Ginger Chews that is really good. I have seen it at Target and Whole Foods. Finally, look for any cookie that has ginger listed in the ingredients and nibble on them. I also know a few women who used Sea Bands, which I got at Wal-Mart last year for a cruise. You wear them on your wrists. They are drug-free and I think they helped me a lot on my cruise. Good luck!

Eat small meals and snacks very often, that helped me. And when I did feel sick, throwing up did make it feel better but don't go sticking your finger down your throat. if it is real bad you could ask your doc about a med to help.

Nothing helped me. Luckily most women can find something to help ease it, but I wasn't one of them
