I keep getting Robot Phone Calls from Obama yet none from McCain. Yet I keep hearing about McCain using them..?

I seriously don't get it. Obviously they are BOTH using these annoying calls. Why is the news only reporting on McCain using them? In fact, I have gotten 3 from Obama and Zero from McCain here in Florida. Also, I am on the Do Not Call List... so how did they get my number? Isn't there a fine for this?

Do not call list is only for companies trying to sell you something. They don't apply to poll takers, surveys, or charitable organizations (trying to get donations).

I have gotten 3 from McCain of which I have listened to NONE! I just delete them from my answering machine - but they are annoying.

I really can't see why anyone would listen to them? If I was home when I got one I would just hang up!

I get what you are saying. Yes it seems like something is not right. Why is there no equal air time for candidates in the media? Its beyond me. My opinion is both are politicians who gotten tons of campaign funding (aka sold out) so who ever is supplying the money would not surprise me if they gave it to both sides. If this is true then it will not matter who gets elected, they will do the same thing regardless for they would be obeying those who gave them the cash or least b ending to their will. And if you really believe in the idea of a shadow government or puppet master theory in US politics, then it may be very possible who ever is pulling strings rather have obama due to his his inexperience. McCain rather strong headed, which is not good if you want your own way. Who is easier to manipulate then an incompetent and have them take the fall? Then lets not mention due to all the unconstitutional power grabbing bush has done over the years, there are many Americans afraid of an October surprise or a canceled elections. DO a google search and see what I mean. If Obama gets in, a lot of afraid this will happen. If this is just a conspiracy nut theory or an rational fear by the electorate, who knows? All I can say it seems stuff going get very interesting this election. Stay tuned, and stay far, far away.

I don't know what Obama's robo calls are saying, but McCain was under fire for beating this Ayers thing into the ground.

I'm not sure what the do not call list applies to? I think that just may be if they are soliciting for money?

The difference is Obama's robo-calls are issues-oriented, not the mudslinging, dirty, slanderous politics of the McCain robo-calls (McCain hired the same people behind the Bush campaign's slanderous robo-calls against himself in the Republican primary of 2000 to manage the robo-calls against Obama).

It's just another instance of John McCain's honor and integrity truly being no different than George Bush's. The country has had enough of them and their crooked politics.

The issue isn't the robo-calls, but the CONTENT of them.

um..obama hasn't really sent out any negative robot calls.

you see it is not uncommon for politicians to use robotic voices, but mccain is being utterly negative with the attacks against obama and ayers.

    that's why he's being targeted.

What have your robo-calls from the Obama campaign said? I'm curious.
