Wouldn't being rich really depend on your cost of living? Does Obama tax plan take that into account?

Depending on where you live $260,000 could be a typical middle income. Most of the East coast states would fall into this category.

Makes sense, I know people making over $250k and they live comfotable but they are not rich. They have a lot of expenses, food prices are higher, gas prices are second highest in country, property taxes are high, home prices are high.

Well, if you're making $260,000 a year and you still can't get by, then I guarantee that the cost of your "wants" greatly exceeds the cost of your "needs" and you need to start living within your means. I work for minimum wage and I'm not gonna ***** about taxes if I'm trying to afford a Porsche and an HD-TV.

Believe me, they could afford a little more in taxes, taxes create the services they enjoy.
