    You have everything here, there only one unknown which we'll call z; so ...

    z = -3 x (2^2 + 3^2) + 2^2

    z= -3 x (4 + 9) + 4

    z = (-3 x 13) + 4

    z = -39 + 4

    z = -35

    Substitute for x and y

    then follow the order of operations

    -3(2^2 +(-3)^2) + 2^2

    Do the parentheses first

    -3(4 + 9) + 2^2

    -3(13) + 2^2

    Do exponents next

    -3(13) + 4

    Then multiply

    -39 + 4

    Then add

    -35

    2^2=4

    3^2=9

    so...

    -3(4+9)+4

    4+9=13

    13 x -3= -39

    -39+4= -35

    So...

    -35 is your answer
