What is a good bra to buy?
My wife would never buy herself something nice. She always says she needs a good bra, but also says she wouldn't spend for it (she basically buys clearance bras from kohl's or Target).
Can someone recommend a good brand and a department store that sells it? She's probably a 40 D. Thanks!

For that size you should go with Cacique from Lane Bryant. You'll spend about $30 a bra and they last a long time since they are made for bigger women. And they are actually attractive, a quality not usually found in the heavy duty variety.

Oh yeah, and the sales ladies there will do a measurement for her to be sure she is buying the right size. Getting the right size is a big factor in how comfortable and long lasting a bra is.

Just steal one of her bras just to be sure about the size and take it to victoria's secret.
By the way if you are looking for a sexy/nice bra and don't want to pay too much on it you can buy it from TjMaxx too..
I ve bought two sets of really sexy and nice bras-G-strings for 50$ total and they were really nice brands.

I think Bali is very good for support. Hanes is inexpensive and comfortable. Maidenform is excellent and very accessible because many department stores have them. Victoria's Secret is great to but she should try on some of them because size differs in brand.

I wear either Victoria's Secret Ipex bra, or Hanes all-over comfort bra. I am about the same measurement as your wife, and I love them both. Hanes is WAY more for your money, but the Ipex lasts longer. If her weight ever fluctuates, it is a better bet to go with the hanes (wal-mart)

Be careful when buying bras because sometimes the shop assistant can get the wrong idea.
Make sure you tell him or her it's for your wife.
Don't buy a pair that have the wire in them as sometimes this can attract lightning during thunderstorms.

I use walmart. I like the 18 hour bras and they are boxed but you can try them on. they fit nice and when they get old and out of shape you buy a new one they last a year or so. i had bought some really expensive ones in the bryant lane store and they were horrible and i hated them so try that they aren't as reasonable but they are good bras.

My girlfriend used to like Fredericks of Hollywood as they were true to size and well made,which was a problem with cheap bras - she
is 38D. Are they still in bisiness I hear that Victoria's Secret is that Victoria is a man.
