Can cats detect cancer in humans?

My cats didn't seem to know I had cancer but I will say one of them knows when I'm not well sometimes but that is probably because of my different behavior. A long time ago I read a story about a cat or dog that would go to his master and keep nudging or paying attention to a particular spot and it turned out to be some illness the master had.

I have heard the identical thing that some cats were in a position to realize whatever is flawed with their servants but am no longer definite how they recognize this. Cats are very shrewd.
