I was divorced 4 yrs ago and knew I would have not health coverage. I was taken off his health plan and knew I would be paying out of pocket. I signed up for a plan with the pharmacy to get generics at a discount and soon after was put on medicaid. After medicaid ran out I was sure I was back on the pharmacy plan that was for people who didn't have coverage. I just found out that the pharmacy has been billing the ex's insurance company. I have been in the pharmacy and on the phone with pharmacy and his insurance and none of this is being resolved. The ex has informed me that there were some dr. bills fro 09 that were pd by his insurance also, while I was on medicaid. I am getting the run around from his ins. and pharmacy. Why would ins even accept payment? What do I do?

My ex has threatened to speak with an attorney if I don't fix this mistake. I have spent countless hrs on the phone and it seems I am getting nowhere. His insurance company has given me 3 different dates as to when my coverage ended. Yet they continued paying for prescriptions when I didn't have coverage through them. Do I need to go to where I got medicaid to alert them to this also?

I spoke with an investor at the bank and he was explaining different ways to invest. He seemed to be really pushing for me to invest in a variable annuity. What are the pros and cons of one and is this a good way to invest? Could you explain why it is or why it isn't/

I just received a small amount of money from my divorce that was taken from his IRA and put into an account in my name. I am in need of a place to live and am wondering if I could borrow some of this money to purchase a forclosed condo for my kids and I to live in? If I borrowed against it, and repay it, vs taking it out and keeping it, would I still be taxed and penalized for it?

I found some marbles and would like to gather as much information about them. Some marbles seem to carry a higher value and I am not sure why they do. Does anyone know how or what to look for in a vintage or older marble, compared to a newer one that might not have a lot of value.

My 1yr old cat has had some soft stools for quit sometime. He was put on medicine and a soft diet and that didn't help. Now he has blood in his stool. I know he needs to get to the vet but in the meantime what can I do for him and does anyone have any idea what is causing this?

I am a divorced 50 yr old women and would like to start dating. My 3 sons, in their early 20's tell me that women should pay for their dates. I tried this with someone I was seeing and it was offensive to him. He knows I am temporarily financially challenged at this time. I don't want to be a freeloader or take advantage of anyone and need advise. What is the proper etiquette for dating these days? Who is expected to pay for what, is it a 50/50 split, do we take turns buying? What is the right thing to do?

My 6 month old kitten was neutered last week. The area around the stitch's is raised and hard. Is his a normal way for him to heal? Do I need to take him to the Animal Hospital right away, or can I wait to see the vet in the morning?

My Ex husband has a girlfriend that my daughter has not met. Yesterday, she spent the evening with her fathers side of the family, the girlfriend wasn't there. Dad brought her home and in his car gave her a plant that his girlfriend sent over for my daughter. My daughter wanted to drop it off of our 10th floor balcony but didn't. I am wondering how you would feel if this was your daughter getting a plant from daddy's girlfriend that she has not yet met? Why would the girlfriend even bother getting her this? Why would I want a plant from some women sitting in my house?

Sunnie appeared to be fine this morning, with no indication of any illness. Suddenly my son and I heard a screeching sound and looked down where he was laying, he lifted his head and it fell to the floor, as though he had lost muscle control. I picked him up, his body seemed lifeless but his heart was still beating. With in a half hour we had him to the Animal hospital when they told us he was gone. The vet examined him with cause of death being unknown, suspect cardiovascular event, saddle thrombus. From what I have read about this it does not describe the symptoms my Sunnier had. Can you tell me what he may have died from or what the cause might be?

Two of my four children live with me, the older two live on their own. All of them are having a hard time coping with the fact that I am not going to be in the house they were raised in for Christmas due to a divorce. Their father fought to keep the house, so we are living in an apartment. Their father has decided to do Christmas for his family, and my kids are not happy going there knowing I won't be there.. This was always a holiday I made special for them. Because were are now living in an apartment we can no longer decorate and use the big tree we always had. Things are quit different for them now and my finances are bad. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do for them to make this a memorable good Christmas for them?

Wondering how other people will spend Christmas Day, since this is the first Christmas since my divorce.

This is my first Christmas as a single parent. My EX wanted the house and my kids and I ended up moving into an apartment. Now he wants to host Christmas dinner, as I always did, in what was once my kitchen and my house. I believe his girlfriend will probably be there. My kids have many fond memories of our Christmases in that house and always wanted to be at home and have his family over Christmas Day. I will not be invited over that day because we are divorced, yet he has come to my apartment at least once a week for dinner. Now I am feeling like I am having a hard time coping with this. My kids did say they would spend most of the day with me but what do I do the rest of the day without them?

What is meant by "rich fuel" also "raw gas"? I have asked a question about bad catalytic converters and I see these terms in the answers and I don't really know what people are trying to tell me.

I just had a catalytic converter replace in my "02" Cougar. The muffler was replaced also because bits and pieces of the cat were caught in it. My mechanic than took it for a test drive and he said the converter melted and would need to be replaced again, he was not sure why this happened. Would anyone know
