Have you heard that Al-Quaida supports McCain?

Not being an American I haven't heard this before.

What's your thoughts and comments?

The message, posted Monday on the password-protected al-Hesbah Web site, said if al-Qaida wants to exhaust the United States militarily and economically, "impetuous" Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain is the better choice because he is more likely to continue the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

"This requires presence of an impetuous American leader such as McCain, who pledged to continue the war till the last American soldier," the message said. "Then, al-Qaida will have to support McCain in the coming elections so that he continues the failing march of his predecessor, Bush."

That's just more crap to get people all stirred up. Now everyone can talk about this being scary, and everything else that is scary, instead of who is going to do what to make the US stronger.

Even if there's truth to be had here it's irrelevant as far as choosing a candidate to vote for. It would be quite the task to get me to believe that either of these men would support or align themselves with al-Qaida. Can we just face the fact that these are two respectable men who love their country then choose one on based on the issues and their plan to manage our country? The more we focus on this fear propaganda the further we get from making this country as strong as it *should* be.

The Bush administration really lit the fire for this fear mongering and it's burning out of control. Look where it's gotten us. We're like a bunch of people lost out in the woods... we've been running around hysterically in circles, attacking each other, and it's started to snow... quite a while ago in fact. Instead of running ourselves into the ground let's get together, assess our skills, and make a plan to get out of the woods, or at least live there happily instead of starving to death or reenacting the Donner Party.

OK. Let's play your game. Gary Studds was caught in his congressional office having sex with an underage page. Are libs for gay pedophilia? Barney Frank had an underage callboy ring run out of his house. Are the libs pedophilia pimps? Oh I like this game. William Jefferson accepted bribes to get contracts in Africa and was caught with 90,000 in his freezer. Do libs make money by extortion? Diane Feinstein was found to have funneled no bid contracts to 3 companies owned by her husband. Do democrats fatten their pockets at taxpayers expense? I love this game. However unlike your example which was a former politician all of my examples happened when they were currently in congress.

Well of course they do. By Bush's own admission AQ is stronger now than 8 years ago. Continuing to provide them with the sort of recruitment opportunities we have is just sheer madness.

by remove saddam out of power, it is a big plush to Al Qaeda and iran to operate freely in middle east.

but yet some American thing that remove Al Qaeda and iran number1 enemy will make America safer!

Sounds to me like a sneaky way to get voters to align with the candidate they least fear.

How about a little reverse psychology from half-way around the world?

    Seems quite obvious.

Wow, they have endorsed Mccain?!!! This will be a call to action to all Americans. We need to vote so as not to allow Al Qaida's candidate to win.

I'm an Obama supporter but I put zero stock into any of that.

Al Qaeda's opinions should not influence how people vote.

they support and donate to Obama even though he is in a tribe that they dislike, Hammas re stated their support and Quadafi told all how much they love Obama and how much all have sent. They are so proud of their African Born Arab ( they permit him to claim black but just for now)

read the news you complete idiot and you will know the truth

    I doubt that completely.

And I hate the McCain/Palin platform.
