I would say so; Alienate the United States with most of the world, screw the economy up so bad that it will be generations to pay off the debt, get back at Iraq after his Dad didn't get it done, but gave him a reason to have Haliburton there, wonder how much of a kickback he is getting from them, and list goes on and on!

Sadly I don't think so. I think when Bush went into office his main mission was to unite the American people and get rid of the partisan bickering.
Less than a year into office his mission changed into ridding the world of terrorism and insure there were no more attacks on the US.
On his unintended mission I think yes he has accomplished his goals.
Iraq is a secondary part of his 2nd mission. His war went swimmingly, the occupation not so much. His mission accomplished was a morale booster for the troops, it did it's job.
He didn't get any portion of S.S. privatized.
There are to many missions to really give a conclusive answer.

Well, According to Bush, he told us "Mission Accomplished" a long, long time ago. So I guess it is.
I don't believe it until he is completely out of the White House, that his mission will be accomplished, because , I think his REAL mission it to utterly bankrupt America, like he did his sports team, and his Oil Company, and the Savings and Loan, and now, top o the list, AMERICA! what a resume huh?

You must mean destroying the economy, coming close to destroying the environment, and dismantling everything that was working in the Federal Government. He's done a pretty good job of all that.

No attacks on U.S. since 9/11-Mission Accomplished. Heaven help us should Obama become President, even his VP candidate Biden isn't sure he'd be up to the task.
