Need desperate help coming up with a good topic sentence?
I am struggling to come up with a good topic sentence. Here is what the topic calls for: "What is the biggest change you have experienced in the last two years?" And actually I've had several. I've met my husband, married him, had a child with him (who's now a year old), and moved to Kansas. I went from being a single mother to married with a complete family in two years. Can someone PLEASE help me I'm desperate to come up with a GOOD topic sentence. Here's what I have so far: "The biggest change that I have experienced in the last two years is my relationship status." I really think there's something better though, any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Actually the sentence in the explanation " I went from being a single mother to married....." is a much more interesting and attention grabbing topic sentence then the one you are using. I would use that as it would definitely make the reader want to learn more.

Hmm... yeah you can get really creative with that. First of all, congrats on your marriage and your child! For your topic sentence, how about something like: "The past two years have brought 2 special people into my life - 2 people that have dramically changed it forever." -- or something like that. I don't know, good luck!
