Market for top hats and spats in recession?

How will this recession affect the market for such common luxury goods as top hats, spats, butlers, and white-tipped canes? Are we looking at a lot of job losses there?

    Top hats? Neighbor, down here in Texas they went out of style after the bullet hit Abe.

    Spats are out too; unless the New Englanders still port them.

    Butlers, well they were accused of killing so many of their employers, we deported them back to England.

    And as for white tipped canes, well, I understand the Republicans are in market for them: they are being led around like a bunch of blind mice by McCain.
