I paid about fifteen dollars for a Manny Ramirez Rookie Card (Upper Deck 1992), which was professionally graded as a 10 (Gem Mint).

Who in their right mind would sell that card for $15? When he retires, and/if he gets voted into the HOF (which could be very debatable), that card will bank you quite a lot of cash.
