I think it's going to have to become a reality thanks to the huge numbers of registered, active voters.

The baby boomers are alive; so are their children.

Lines have been consistently long for early voters, complete with needing chairs and sun shades for the elderly. Imagine if everyone just had to turn up on Election Day. You couldn't find the polling place for the crowd.

I understand the goal of early voting is to increase voter participation and to relieve election day congestion. However, as of right now, it should not be law based on the premise that much can change in a few weeks. If, on the other hand, early voting was allowed only with excuse one day prior to election day, then I would have no problem with it. Furthermore, there is always absentee ballots, which is allowed in all states, about half with excuse. I simply don't see the need of early voting weeks in advance.

I have to say I like early voting and have liked it since I recommended there be more than one day of voting in the elections for President down to the local level.

Actually the Constitution is very clear about when elections should be held. Early voting just gives Democrats more time to commit fraud.

As long as people get out and vote for my friend Senator McCain.

I already told America that Senator Obama is far too inexperienced to be President and I also told America that I do not want to be VP.

NO, I don't like it! It invites voter fraud.
