Grind vitamins in the blender.?
I hate swallowing vitamins cos the capsules are so big. Is it ok to grind the vitamins in the blender along with my other smoothie ingredients?

Yep. A blender is just fine for vitamins. They are actually absorbed faster by your body because it does not take as much effort to break them down. You can also use a mortar and pestle.

I have always disliked swallowing vitamins, what a pain in the neck! By the way I have come to learn that the pill, tablet or capsule vitamins are not always the best to be absorbed by the body. So often times you don't get the benefits of the nutrients or vitamins that you think you do. Crushing them with your blender really doesn't solve the problem of their lack of potency in the form that they are origninally made from. In fact I read a report that said that most folks who take the pill form of vitamin only receive about 5% of it absorbed into their systems. What a waste of money in my estimation. You should really consider a liquid nutritional whole-food vitamin supplement that contains all the superfooods, nutrients and essential amino acids that you need. Liquid vitamins like SeaAloe (the one that I take) supply the best that nature has to offer. By the way I don't miss swallowing vitamins any more! Why be inconvenienced in that way if you don't need to be? Let me know if I can supply you with more information. I love talking about nutrition! Take care.

Indeed, the 70s diet still holds sway. Low calorie, high fibre celery will stop you snacking, and contains high levels of calcium which help to lose the fat content in different foods. Tip: Eat braised pears with roast chicken to negate this bird’s calorie content.

People who plan their weekly meals are usually successful at losing weight than people that don’t. Plan your dishes to include healthy carbs such as special potato and wholegrain pasta, green vegetables and lean proteins, buy the many ingredients in advance and don’t be tempted to enjoy out or order in.

Go bland. Plain, basic, unseasoned food such as prepared chicken, plain rice and a bare-skinned baked potato are nutritious your palette will tire of all of them quickly, unlike salty moreish processed food, which keeps you snacking and piling about the pounds.

Time your eating and exercise appropriately. Never eat prior to deciding to work out, and wait 30 to 60 minutes after training to make sure you catch your metabolism from its highest.

Pineapple: Nibble about it to break down the proteins in your main meal and kick start out your metabolism.
