Whatever age you would like...some women don't wear tampons at all.
It really depends on how heavy your period is. My mother doesn't wear tampons at all, because she doesn't bleed very much. And if you hardly bleed at all, it's best to wear liners or pads, for health reasons.
However, if you have a 'normal' or heavy flow, you can begin at any time. I started when I was twelve or so, I think...I just find them more convenient. Pads are bulky and irritate me, while tampons are hardly noticeable.
Take care.:)

It depends on you and your comfort level. Some girls wear them right off the bat, and some women never wear them. It's a personal choice. I'd wait until at least a year after you get your period to start, just to make sure your regular though.

There is no right age to start wearing them. You could have started wearing them when you first started, others don't choose to wear them until their 18 or something. I've had mine for 2 years (im 13 too) and I've never worn one yet. Doesn't really matter, just as long as you think your ready for them then yes. We don't really have any control over you. =]
hope this helped. good luck x]
