Science proves the need for a creator.
All effects have a cause
the universe didn't used to exist
it exists now
something had to cause it to exist.
The causing agent had to have more energy than the entire universe
We call that God
These are all facts !!
The real question is "Is God an active part of your life today ?"

There are numerous proofs of God's existence.
The cosmological argument is a very important one as it is the most logical. Basically its concept is that everything is either contingent (will cease somewhere in the future) or necessary (will always be) as everything that is contingent (everything in the world) must have had a necessary cause to create it ... God. For example, take ball thrown around a classroom, you can trace it back to the first person who threw it and then you will always end up with God.
Another argument is the teleological argument (everything must have a purpose) and that purpose is to sustain human life and so is anthropocentric (based on humans).
Paley's argument, based on it, is that if you have never seen a watch before and you open it and look at the back you'll see that its mechanism is incredible therefore there must have been someone who created it! just like the earth...
however the contradiction is that more than one person can create a watch so who knows why not the Gods from Classical Theism as the creators of the earth=)
These are the main reasons... Hope I helped and made it straight forward for you to understand

There is eye-witness testimony, recorded by the viewers. Some of these are included in the Bible, especially the Gospels. Many discount the Bible as a source, as they do not trust it. However, it is, by a factor of about 1000, the most reliable ancient text in existence, for many reasons. Discount the Bible means discounting all ancient writings long before the Bible should be given up. There is also the testimony of modern witnesses to God, and His works. There are many theological proofs, although these require learning Theology to understand them. You need the right tools for the job - it turns out that God does not fit well in a test tube, so that sort of "proof" really does not work.

The only known way to 'prove' (or 'test') God's existence is to give him a go in your life and see if it makes any difference.
Lots of people say it does, so for those people it IS proved. In any case, it's far better to get first-hand experience than to take the word of someone else.

k so one of the obvious reasons is faith, but there is other things. For one there have been pots that depict the fight between David and Goliath (found in 1Samuel) that date back before the bible.
Also lets look at it logically. So people say evolution is how we became to be. If we evolved over millions of years to what we are today we had to start somewhere right? they say that we came from a single celled organism. If that is true then where did that cell come from. It had to come from somewhere right?
Also if there isn't a God then what do people have to strive for? People who have cancer or a serious illness what do they have to live for? Last things happen... things that science can't explain because there is no logical explanation except for God.
If people have any more questions on God please email me. I may be young but I would be happy to share my religion.

What would be the purpose? Atheists make this comment all the time. "Prove that God is real." And then what? Will you all believe in Him and give your lives to Christ?
Jesus walked the earth and performed miracles in front of thousands of people. They didn't read about Him in the Bible. They didn't hear preachers or Christians talking about Him. They saw Him in the flesh and many of them witnessed the miracles that He did. But most of them still refused to believe. How would you be any different?
You're like a little junior high school girl who sneaks away with other boys in order to make her boyfriend jealous and thereby "prove" his love for her. You either accept God is real or you don't, and no amount of "proof" is going to change what you believe.
If you REALLY want to know God, pray to Him believing that He will hear you and He will make Himself known to you. Not with some cheap parlor trick like magically appearing before you, but you will truly know in your heart. But to do this, you must be sincere in your desire, not just trying to reinforce your belief that "since He didn't physically appear, He must not exist."

The Bible is almost like a resource center for learning about Jesus. Scientists have also been finding more and more things that prove Jesus existed. But i honestly think the most important factor here is Faith. You have to believe in something you can't see but you can feel him with you.

Holy books were best source of evidence to prove God's exixtence. Like the Bible and the Quoran.
By looking to yourself, you could already claim as an evidence that there is a God. For God said, "Let us make man in our image..."
Now, if you look like an ape, or walk like one. There, you could prove that there is no God.
Look at the mirror, check yourself. Do you have God-like features? Or do you look like an ape (gorilla, chimp)?
“Walking upright on two legs is a defining feature that makes us human,” said study leader Herman Pontzer, an anthropologist at Washington University in St. Louis. “It distinguishes our entire lineage from all other apes.”
Genesis 3:8
"They heard the sound of the LORD God 'walking' in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden."

Ohh....... so you mean that nobody made you? ohhhhh....... cool!!
I'll throw some some milk onto the air to see if I there is an explosion and I get get some Ice Cream back. Sorry for being so rude but, somebody had to make the Earth and all the humans, even if you believe in evolution who created the monkeys. Or who created the Big Bang?

There is no proof the the existence of a god, nor is there proof that a god doesn't exist. People who choose to be believers do so because of faith.
