Alot Toolbar (or AlotToolbar) is Adware browser toolbar. Alot Toolbar can monitor user's surfing activity or searches in internet. Details of those kind of activities can be transmitted to internet hackers and the hackers can transmit back malware, Trojans or even viruses to users. Hackers can send back in a form of pop-up ads or even another toolbar links. Alot Toolbar can secretly install in users computer by them self without their permission or knowledge by using browser security holes or it can come with a halp of other malware. Alot Toolbar can resist users attempts to delete it and can use hidden reinstaller programs to reinstall itself after it has been removed so it is very hard to delete it manually. Remove Alot Toolbar as soon as possible from your computer system!

Consider this: most of toolbars(90%) are adwares.
It's rare when sometoolbar is completely free of any bad thing out there.
For me, most of toolbars are useless.
Here why the reason: Firefox has already a safe search engine that connects to many search engines(that is what most of toolbars offers to be installed).
I just say, hey, I already have the option to search here, so why I should install another toolbar that let's me search on Nameofbrand?
Let the mind choose where I wanna search something ;)

Anything that installs itself on your computer without you knowing IS BAD! it's most likely adware or Spyware even if you think the toolbar is cool and helpful.

If you are having a virus or Malware problem, you should receive professional Malware removal support from a website like http://www.geekpolice.net/
If you are not sure if it's a virus or not, they will use special softwares to check it for you.
I recommended it because they provide one of the fastest services on the internet.
