Are these really TheConduit's graphics?

yeah that's a really bad picture.The graphics look way better than that.Look it up in ign.It has the best videos.

I watched the videos, yeah it sure looks great for a Wii game, but still its uncomparable to a PS3 or 360 game.

First of its in SD, if either of the above had to only output in SD then the gmaes would be sublimely stunning, but they output at 4 times the resolution of the Wii, so your always gonna get more detail.

Ill put in the technical look. First off it has a pretty low poly count, but to cope wiht this they have used alot of bump mapping and displacment maps, this does give a effect of good models, but can have a few side effects, mainly physics, but Wii doesnt have Havok or Unreal support, so that don't matter. The lighting is off too, sure its dynamic, not exactly new, but if you watch when he's shooting and firign the rocket luancher it jsut blanket lights the area, it doesnt follow, say, the trial of the rocket's flame.

The only decnet thing was the water, but even then have a look at Uncharted where it will even only wet the charachter as far up as they went into the water.

Sure it's stunning, for the Wii, but to compare to the 360 or PS3 is maybe lying to yourself too much. the Wii will NEVER compare in graphics to the PS3 or 360, Nintendo never made it to do that, they spent R&D on makign an inovative controller, not on new tech to blast out HD visuals. If you want that then you get a PS3 or 360. simple.

Now to wati for the thumb's down.

First off, the first video listed is what High Voltage Software will be using for the game engine, their own Quantum 4 engine.

Secondly, the screenshot is of one particular gun in pre-alpha development. The alien weapons have much greater detail, and in my opinion they look much cooler than those alien weapons of Halo.

And lastly, the second video shows you the game in action. In all honesty, the graphics look like it could match some 360 and PS3 games and even surpass the graphical quality of some of their lower budget games.

It's probably just a bad screenshot; I've seen bad screenshots of MGS4 that make it look unimpressive, but it looks so much better in motion.

However, it's still really annoying about the trolls praising them...

Thar's is kinda a fanboy statement considering your judging the whole games graphics on one picture.

Yeah, this is just a bad screen shot, it should be some of the best graphics out there.

they have better graphics now but dont start saying they can match with ps3 graphics
