I'm strongly against racial scholarships, and I think they're a perfect example of reverse racism. If you want to help people from "stigmatized" or "disadvantaged" backgrounds, base it on the school district they attended, their household income, some form of essay contest that describes things they've overcome - not race.

Both, obviously. One person's loss is another person's gain: the nature of the universe. The thing someone gains can't come out of nowhere, and the thing someone loses can't just disappear.
