Who do you think the military members and retirees support ?

Subject: Army Times Poll On Presidential Race

The Army Times is the official newspaper of the US Army. I suspect

that most polls would be similar to this if they were not reported by

the liberal media and the pollsters would not target the democratic

public. Here are the results of the Army Times' poll of Military personnel (in percent):

McCain Obama

Overall 68 23

Army 68 23

Navy 69 24

Air Force 67 24

Marines 75 18

Retirees 72 20

White Non-Hispanic 76 17

Hispanic 63 27

Black/African-American 12 79

Enlisted 67 24

Officers 70 22

Somehow I missed seeing this in the New York Times. This explains why Democrats in general and Obama in particular doesn't care if the military has the opportunity to vote AND have their vote counted.

It's clear that the vast majority of the U.S. military (except for

the black people) do not trust Obama to attempt to lead them as the

Commander-In Chief.

Did you hear they had to ORDER our troops not to spit on Obama when he was overseas??

If anyone doubts these figures, they can be found at

http://www.militarytimes.com/static/projects/pages...

Update:

You can say anything you want but this is The official poll by the US Army and I know it is difficult to comprehend but they still report the facts because they respect the words - honor and truth.

Update 2:

"In its October 13, 2008 edition, the Army Times published the results of a poll of 4,300 readers of Military Times publications, which includes weekly newspapers geared for members of the Navy, Marines and Air Force. The poll asked: “If the presidential election were held today, for whom would you vote?”"

For those that wondered how many were polled - here's the answer!

All individuals, including middle splendor individuals, could pay their existence like share of taxes. If the present economic fact way that there is now no longer adequate tax sales from distinctive sources to pay for a center tax cut back, then the economically prudent process action is to provide up a center tax cut back till the yank financial climate improves sufficiently. If Obama did no longer trim his marketing campaign ensures to mirror the present economic realities, then i could think of betrayed. I voted for Obama for a quantity of motives whether specially on condition that I have been given right here to have faith his judgment to make nicely selections prevalent upon an honest and exhaustive examination of the archives in all needed concerns. That has now no longer converted and could no longer difference pondering the fact that i do no longer anticipate perfection from my President. I anticipate nicely judgment and his large efforts to treatment needed subjects and set a clean course for united states of america in the 21st century. i think of large, and that i choose you have a quirky Rush-loose day!

I really don't know who they support. There isn't any official polling data. The link doesn't provide an explanation of sampling data, with is very important when you poll. Was it 10, 20 or more people. It really doesn't say.

There has been no effort to by anyone to stop military personnel from voting. Again, these are things your just making up out of thin air.

When it comes to veterans most are not happy with McCain's voting record on veterans benefits. He usually votes no or present.

You probably have never read the New York Times.

The comment about not spitting is a lie. Why is it that republicans have this habit of making things up.

I suggest the next time your feeling 'creative' you might as well draw a reverse B on you cheek and call the Police.

I agree, we do support McCain, but somehow we always get insulted when we do... heck, I just found out that I am brainwashed, uneducated, and joined for college money! I feel so supported by the left! NOT.

As to methodology for the poll...

    http://www.militarytimes.com/news/2008/10/military...

It actually sampled more people than the average political poll.

Now, if only we can get them to actually count our Votes! Look it up, many States are trying not to, VA comes to mind... but hey, it's ok, we are lazy and uneducated... to the person who said that, you are Welcome, hope you Enjoy your Freedom to post drivel.

    McCain 08.

And they care more about getting a homeless guy to vote. Ohio is allowing the homeless to list residency as a park bench. I am for it, but the left shouldn't cry about voter suppression when they do everything possible to make our miltary men and women unable to have their vote counted.

Source(s): Lucy in the Sky. I just about heard the most disgraceful thing I think I ever had. It is pu$$y liberals like you who probably spit on the soldiers when they come back. You are a disgrace to yourself, to America, and to the entire human race. I just hope you think about this someday and realize how naive and cold your statement is. It is people like you who make independents like me vote Republican

Poll came out around the same time Colin Powell endorsed Obama. Powell made headlines but the military got zero coverage. Goes to show the media bias.

Well that depends on the person. A person in the military from California would most likely be a Democrat compared to a military member from Texas who would most likely to be a Republican.

Military members are just the same a civilians in politics they have their biases just like civilians and have their own opinions the difference is they are just in uniform.

Did you hear they had to ORDER our troops not to spit on Obama when he was overseas??

No, perhaps you could post a link to that order.

I don't doubt it a bit, outside of a corporation I cant think of an institution less democratic than the military.

If they did a simple google search on McCains record on Veterans issues perhaps they would change their mind.
