Do you vote for a candidate/party or against the opposition ?

The impetus for me voting in the next UK general election, is to try and stop the Tories, rather than voting for Liberal/Labour or whoever is in the best position in my constituency. If I was American I would vote Democrat, but mainly to try stop the Republicans stay in.

Are your votes positively or negatively influenced ?

It depends on who's standing. I would vote Labour if it meant keeping the Tories out. That decision is getting more difficult for people though as there is very little difference now between Lab and Con.

I would even vote Tory to keep the BNP out. However, it their was a progressive organisation like the Green Party, or RESPECT standing in my ward then I'd vote for them

I will vote for UKIP to withdraw us from European overlords imposing unwanted laws, restrictions and power lessening, to control immigration to the point of only letting in skills that are required without citizenship, all criminal immigrants would be deported no matter what the circumstances, even if UKIP didn't win, it would at least give me a sense of trying to save my country

They are both one and the same. To vote for a candidate is to vote against the opposition and that's why McCain has gotten my vote.

    President McCain has already won.

My decision comes from listening and understanding both sides of the issues - the issues like green planet, taxes and the economy are what i'm most concerned with.
