Is there any way I can attach an object to a tile wall without a nail?

I tried one of those suction cup thingies but it didn't stick. Is there anything else out there I could try?? Thanks very much.

3M makes the hooks that will stick to pretty much anything that are easy to remove and will not mar the surface when you're ready to remove it. They have many different sizes also. We buy ours at Target - they are in the hardware department.

If the object is over 5 lbs. or you want to be really sure it won't fall you have two choices. You could use an epoxy two-part adhesive or you could drill a hole. If you drill the hole, you will need a special carbide drill bit for tile, and an expansion wall anchor to put into the hole. If what I've written makes no sense to you, go to a True Value or other smaller hardware store and ask the owner for help with these terms. You will get better answers and more attention than at the big box stores. There are books that have illustrations and photos that would also be a big help. Work safely, always have eye protection when using a power tool!!!

I suggest you visit your local hardware store, there are a whole lot of picture hanging methods, that don't mess up your wall.

They are mostly inexpensive and easy to remove, when you are ready to do so.

Someone makes really good adhesive hooks.

I cannot remember the brand, but I believe they work pretty well.

use a good quality siliconized caulk it will hold well and when you want to remove it will come off with no damage to tile
