Call a septic tank Pump out service and have them pump it out. Better yet call Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs and have him clean it for you.

Added comment: Not kidding about the septic tank pumping service I used one on a travel trailer I purchased used and had delivered to my home . Not having a dumping station at my house I called one out they emptied the tank and i didn't need to touch a thing. there is a macerating pump available from an RV store but it costs $320 a bit costly and the question I have is where are you going to dump the contents of the Black water holding holding tank

After all we are talking about a boat there is no dump valve going out the side of Your boat is there, so all this RV advise will do you no good where will you drain the tank when you put that gizmo from the RV store down the toilet and how will you hook up the drain hose to dump it into the RV dump station? . If your lucky it's A Porta Potti and you can remove the whole thing and dispose of it legally. A new replacement should be around $80.00. If it's a built in holding tank there already is a macerating pump installed and a hose hook up in the boat. then you can use an ordinary garden hose and drain the tank into your sewer cleanout ,

I know someone one out there is thinking why did he have to have it delivered. well We went out looking for one I could pull with my truck But! my wife loved this huge fifth wheel needless to say she got the fifth wheel and I got a new truck don't you just hate it when that happens

It's not an RV and being only 22 ft it's more than likely a porta potti

Most marine ports potties come as two sections you remove the seat and screw a cap onto the tank part this way you can transport the tank to an approved waste station and empty it

    look at this unit http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/deta...

After you empty it fill it up with water and 1 quart of bleach let it stand in the sun for a day wash the seat and other parts down with bleach and let them stay inn the sun too.

the reason for leaving out in the sun is the UV rays

Being a small boat, it can't be a large system. More than likely a Porta-potti. Either pump it out, or dump it out. Fill it up with bleach and let it soak for a day or two. Rinse it out well and bill the customer 2 times the normal rate for being nasty enough to think you should have to deal with his crap!

Most marinas or rv parks have the capability of pumping out the holding tank. I would suggest pumping it out and then flushing it out with freshwater a couple of times. You can also add some holding tank deodorant in the spring and that should help a lot. Most important is to get it pumped out and flushed though.

there is a gizmo available at RV stores that hooks to a water hose. it is a stiffish wand thingy that sprays sideways and lets you poke around in the tank and loosen up the crusties. This is a filthy, messy, nasty, foul but necessary job. After that, fill it with water, and motor home septic tank digester. Rinse and repeat as necessary. Rain gear, long rubber gloves, boots and a scuba mask are really helpful. Or clothes that you can burn afterward.

Source(s): My motor home tank hadn been emptied in over three years. Thats what I had to do and it really stinks.

Most camp grounds have RV dump sites. Take it there and dump it. It may cost a small fee but it won't be much.
