Raw pumpkin seeds good for ?

My daughter carved a pumpkin 6 days ago. I sat the raw seeds in a bowl of salt water and forgot about them till today. I've boiled them for 10 minutes, but before I go to the trouble of roasting them, I'm wondering if they will still be safe (after roasting) to eat since they sat on the counter for 6 days.

After soaking for that long they will be woody and not worth eating. Not dangerous but not worth the trouble. Been there - done that.

hi! Pumpkin seeds are no longer volatile to human beings. In India that's used to make a good kind of goodies and savouries. it is likewise very tasty. the floor of the pumpkin seed isn't eaten so it must be first skined. Seeds from freshly decrease pumpkin would be eaten although that's stressful if no longer impossible to pores and skin them appropriate. that's advisible first to dry it preperably interior the sunlight for an afternoon or 2. like another fit for human intake seeds it is likewise nutritious. i'm uncertain as to which styles of pumpkin seeds are fit for human intake. in my opinion in case you could consume the pumpkin you could consume its seeds.

Well they are good for putting in home made soups like lentil / broth that kind of thing don't drop too many in though just a small hand full they don't add any flavor to the soup just make it a bit crunchier great if you like you vegetables big and chunky in your soups.
