What does being "cool" or "popular" mean? And why is it bad/wrong to "try to be cool"?

To be cool or popular is to be socially accepted and admired by others. It is bad to try and be cool because you are trying to create a false persona so that others will like you. It's much better to be yourself and if people accept you and like you, you're cool! It honestly doesn't have a set definition, just know this, trying to become cool is not cool.

It's best to be cool while acting like you aren't trying at all. The Fonz never quite understood this. There is nothing wrong with being cool. The ones who think being cool isn't cool obviously are not cool. Does that make sense?

Popularity is not inherently a bad thing. Popularity indicates that you exhibit some of the most attractive traits to the majority of people relative to the extent of your social relations. The potentially damaging effects of popularity occur when the "attractive traits" that the majority of people look for in a person are immoral or illegal.

It means being secure about yourself and don´t letting anyonw intimidate you. I don´t think it´s wrong to try to be cool, unless this means to change the way you are and acting like something you aren´t, that IS wrong beacause you should always be yourself=)

This means having the most desirable personality. Theres nothing wrong with trying to be cool. We all are guilty of trying to please other people. What is wrong is when the trying becomes unsuccessful.

yeah people know you and likes you . like everyone .

and its not wrong . those who say its bad or wrong or stupid or whatever is just jealous . they must be some kind of sick pathetic loser at school .
