How about the NEW lawsuit about Obama's birth?

Apparently, a suit is being filed right now in SCOTUS, asking for Obama's proof of being a "natural born citizen".

Update:

This one is also filed by Berg. As we all learned in the last election, matters like this CAN go directly to the Supreme Court without going through all the lower courts.

The last case was dismissed because the judge ruled that mere citizens can't bring suits like this. The merits of the case were not ruled on.

Why is Obama so reluctant to just show the documentation and have this over with?

Update 2:

OH, and it asks for the election to be delayed until this is resolved.

A FAIR and REASONABLE request considering his background and upbringing.

If the SCOTUS is worth a damn.... if anyone believes the Constitution is worth a damn.... they would be in full agreement.

ODD that Obama is FIGHTING this "minor" detail, isn't it?

I find it hilarious that they're still trying this. The man would not be in the position he is, poised on the brink of becoming president, if he wasn't a natural born citizen. Moreover, if people wanted to be nonpartisan about this, they would investigate McCain as well, who was apparently born on an army base in Panama, though there's limited evidence that he was actually born on the base. Know why that one's not coming up? Because Democrats don't care, this election is about a lot more than that.

And that NEW, frivolous lawsuit will be dismissed the same way Phil Berg's lawsuit was dismissed in a FEDERAL COURT...Too bad for you "low information" and "anti-intellectual" folks...Precedence has already been set.

It's not NEW. A republican lawyer filed that suit months ago. No surprise- he's a McCain supporter.
