overrated. Love causes pain, crushes, and hurt. Saying it's underrated is like saying The dark knight is overrated.

Often it is overrated. This by thinking a mere crush or infatuation is indeed love. What is often underrated is what is truly love. Alright, maybe not really underrated as much as unappreciated.

overrated. the idea of romantic love didn't even exist until the late 1800s. Romantic love was never part of the equation, we made it up. Sure people who married might have eventually after sharing property and rearing kids, come to "love" each other, but in a more mature sense than we think of today.

love is a basic need - we need it just as much as we need food, water and shelter. Some of us never find it and we pay that price. It is underrated.
