Women - Have you tried Alli?
If so, how do/did you find it worked for you? Do you work out? Do you eat healthy, like they suggest? What is your age?
I just started taking it so I haven't noticed any difference as of yet. I work out at Curves 3-5 times a week. I do NOT eat healthy. Most of my diet consists of grease. I'm 41 and found that my metabolism is slowing down, sadly.
I'm not trying to diet and I AM aware of the bowel issues. I haven't experienced them yet, myself, but have been told.

I am 20 years old and I took it a little over a year ago, for about two months. It says that it is only effective with a diet and exercise plan, and that is the truth. It blocks only a LOW percentage of the fat you consume. This is not your free ticket to eat whatever you want.
As for your exercise, way to go! If you keep that up and make a few changes to your eating, you should be a lot happier with those results.
Alli is an overpriced medication that is hardly even worth it.
And yes, it's true what they say, you may very likely lose control of your bowels.

Your metabolism is slow due to all the greasy foods. Cut back on the grease, try baked things instead. I do not know much about the Ali diet, but I do know greasy foods and eating out are the two worst things to do on a diet. TIP: everytime you eat out, most of the time you consume over 2000 calories. I am dieting myself, and when I get the urge to eat out, I think of all the calories and how hard I am working to keep it off. It is just NOT worth it.

the first thing that came 2 me even now the only alli I know is alli barber. THE BOWEL ISSUES CAN B FIXED ABOUT 20 ALMONDS DAILY (IS ALL THE ROUGHAGE U NEED. I was born a little chubby kid
due 2 my dads metabolism (short,chubby) and as is normal he always
joked not about his body but mine (our family is rare u c my 1/2 sis 9who`s mum died giving birth) is short chubby and oldest,my bro is tall & skinny (like mum`s fam, me the bub is like dad.So I have been looking into staying slim ish 4 /44yrs (well not quite) but at least since my bike smash, (You get so fat in a w/chair) so since then I`ve been working out, dieting,anything 2 lose fatty/flab.
what u eat is a concern but lots of fruit and veg,rice is good,fish,chook, little red meat,rice crackers,fruit and nuts 4 munchies (watch sugar`s)
yes it limits your fat,cal,sugars ect, but also you need 2 change eating habits. I did and it is working (eat tea 4 brecky, a medium lunch and 2-3 piece `s of fruit,20 almond`s 4 tea,fruit /nut mix or rice cracker 4 munchies. oh yer DRINK HEAPS OF RAIN WATER it`s from god. I only drink rain water exept occasionly (2-3 times a week) 2ltr water per day sound`s good but dosn`t happen at least3/4 glasses work`s 4 me. I now go 2 sda church thier biblicaly,spiritualy,sound and eat healthily as the bible say`s but I am not a vegietarian. because the bible say`s thier week in faith.I will attach a pic of me in 1985 3 mounths after my acciedent my 21st b/day.

Alli is a fat blocker..it hasbeen know to make people have uncontrollable bowel movements in public places.so be ware.
