I have loads of files in my main Windows directory, whose names begin with $ sign and end also with $. ?
I have noticed in my main Windows directory that I have a lot of files whose names begin with $ sign and end also with $. loads of them!! My question is what are these files for? If not that important, can i delete them without causing any problem to my programs or my pc?

They are temporary files........
Perform a disk clean up process for removing unwanted temp files....

Those files are a programming language called C+/C#, and they are mostly hidden because you can not delete them, if you do so your pc should tell you that you are not allowed to delete them.
Those files are vital for many, many, maaany functions.
Source(s): C+ certified (5years ago) but this I do remember.
