I'm using windows XP Professional with Windows Fire Wall.

The router i use is : Wireless Linksys WUS300N connected to LAN, and two PCs are sharing the network. I also use Norton 360.

When I get disconnected, I am unable to surf the net. But the icon in the taskbar will still show that I am still connected and signal strength is excellent.

The disconnections become more frequent some times, even when only one PC is on.

Can someone help me please!

I am using Mozilla Firefox as the default website and until recently have been working very well including opening my yahoo mail page. However, recently and unexpectedly Yahoo mail page gets s tucked and then the following message appears"-

Network Timeout

The operation timed out when attempting to contact uk.mc246.mail.yahoo.com.

Yes I have 360 Norton, but it's set to allow yahoo, goggle and firefox to run. What could possibly be the cause?!!!!!!!!!!

I am using Firefox and until recently I was able to use Yahoo page also. However, within the last couple of weeks things suddenly have changed. Every time I try to load yahoo page I get the following message after a couple of minutes:

The requested site did not respond to a connection request and the browser has stopped waiting for a reply.

Small Business Accounting Software with Payslip?

I ran a small business company, in the Gulf region, offering maintenance services to properties with about 50 employees. Can anybody recommend a real good and simple Accounting Software with integrated Payslip , which can take good care of both cash flow, sales, invoicing and bookkeeping?

I have started a small company, operating at home, employing 5 people. I need to make payslip for salaries. I need a very simple template, please. Where can I find it? MS does not have a simple one.

I have noticed in my main Windows directory that I have a lot of files whose names begin with $ sign and end also with $. loads of them!! My question is what are these files for? If not that important, can i delete them without causing any problem to my programs or my pc?

African countries have many languages, but unfortunately the majority of Africans in the continent cannot communicate in their own languages. They use languages of their colonial masters, English, French, Portugese, Spanish, etc., etc. to communicate and ran their governments!!

Only few countries, such as Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda can communicate in Kiswahili, which belongs to no particular tribe.

I have noticed that the problem of diabetics is on the rise and many who are suffering do not have a one-stop chemist, where they can get all what they need. I want to start a small business dealing specifically with the needs of the diabetics, preferably in a developing country. Is it a viable option? Is there anybody around with some experience in this area?

A riddle!

I have a LION, a GOAT and a load of GREEN GRASS.

I am at the bank of a wide and deep river, with a Lion, a Goat and load of green grass. The three lots are hungry, but cannot take the food in my presence. In fact, its only my presence which prevents the lion from eating the goat, and the goat from eating the green grass. Left alone together, the goat will be eaten by the lion, and, if the goat is left with the grass, the grass will be eaten by the goat. Hence, I have a problem. A big problem!

Now, I want to take all three to the other side of the river. Unfortunately, the only available boat at the river is one which is too small to accommodate more than one item/animal plus myself, at one time.

How can I mange to take all three to the other side of the river, safely, without risking leaving the lion with the goat alone behind, or the goat with the grass alone, behind? Advise, please!
