How to stop these rampage killings?
How can we, as a society and the state, manage to stop these rampage and outrageous killings of innocent people in public places, which are increasingly becoming almost a fashion, in our societies?

The only way man can prevent some people from doing this is by exercising a terrible control over those who never would.
Watch:
First we must insure this never happens again.
So every professor, no, every teacher from kindergarten up must immediately report any kind of "unusual" behavior (how is "unusual" interpreted?) to authorities.
With or without the child's/persons/parents consent; that child will then be sent to a Psychologist/Psychiatrist/
Reprogrammer for counciling/drugs/intervention
If the child does not show "significant improvement" (significant improvement is interpreted how?) they may be removed from the home and put into a "facility"
Parents are then "labeled" and perhaps prevented from having further offspring. Esp. if the abnormality is severe or physical in nature.
In order to make sure that those labled "unusual" can never harm innocent people we must mark and be able to track everyone.
This is all for our own safety.
Do you see it?
Do you see the slippery slope?
You first answerer was right...we can't
Only God has the power to change hearts and free people from the trauma that is daily faced living under this cruel, and painful sun.
Pray for peace and give that joy to your neighbours in the way of service and kindness.
Shalom

It's true, there's no absolute way to be sure that you can stop it forever. But everything begins at home when you are a newborn. For a long long time, it was simply understood that parents pay attention to and mentor their children. The television, among other things, has become the third parent. Some parents are too busy working to properly raise kids. Some parents are worthless and don't pay enough attention. There is a huge meth problem growing in our nation. Decent parenting is becoming very difficult for some people, it is a luxury to afford to have a spouse at home. Pay attention to your neighbors! You don't have to be a busybody to know when something tells your gut that something isn't right. It's scary to have kids these days, but what are we gonna do? Lock up our kids to protect them? No way! Rally for better laws, gun laws, harsher punishment, etc. Get informed. If all of us did just a little something, together as a large nation it would make a big impact.

actually I wondered how it was that a person with a green card was able to get a gun--I know the forms I've seen ask if you're a US citizen-I also wondered how he could've gone to counseling and the counselor never realized that he was a threat-but gun control only takes the guns from the good guys[poor Appalachian families who get half their food from hunting like the area I grew up in] leaving them in the hands of the bad guys -and the military where more people are dying at an alarming rate many by "friendly" fire-it is upsetting to see a mass murder but it doesn't happen that often that our freedoms should be removed --had steps been taken to help the boy each time he was reported this probably wouldn't have happened

True it is becoming a fashion, becuase of the way we have chose to live. Children bought up in single parent homes. Homosexuality, drugs and disrespect to others running rampant. These are all factors which lead to mental illness and thus cause some to go off the deep end. It's sad

life isn't a hundred% possibility unfastened and that i desire we don't desolve right into a society the place we are all so petrified of what's coming around the nook that absolutely everyone starts arming themselves. i think of as a replace of all the hype i'm listening to approximately "the evil" in the back of the Va Tech shootings it would be extra efficient to purpose and learn the way the shooter stepped forward into the guy who desperate it grow to be suitable to launch his anger and resentments in this terrible way. i do no longer think of he grow to be in basic terms an evil guy or woman - fairly stricken, remoted and extremely in all risk mentally unwell. We see this in a variety of of of those varieties of crimes - very distinctive from murders alongside with Ted Bundy. that's demanding that he grow to be waiting to get a gun even together with his historic past and that now i'm listening to human beings ranting that if in straight forward terms the college and scholars were allowed to hold a hid weapon, oblivious of the incontrovertible fact that Cho grow to be a pupil who had a weapon. he's relatively by using no mean the only pupil at Tech or the different campus who's disgruntled, blames others for his issues, and reviews suicidal and homocidal fantasies. The strategies i'm analyzing and listening to authentic now contained in the aftermath of this tragedy are very demanding. I hear little or no with regard to the obtainable choose for for us to grow to be a kinder, extra tolerant, and compassionate society.

i wasnt aware of more than one. maybe if the news didnt cover it 24 hours a day we wouldnt care so much. the news spends 10 seconds telling us that 100 people died in iraq waiting in line for jobs and i didnt see you asking this question then. where were you? or do u only care when americans die? to fix the problem we have to kill everyone, people are violent by nature. you all are hypocrites, you would only be lucky to have a quick death like most of those people. unlike kids who starve to death each day in africa while you complain about your hair not being pretty enough.

We can't. To be perfectly upfront and unfortunately honest. We cannot control other people, we cannot throw somebody in jail because they "might" wind up killing somebody someday. That's just plain immoral. We do everything we can, your typical person knows the difference between right and wrong and that's all we can do. There is punishment for crime, what else can we do? Seriously. There's no reason to obsess over this, we can't control other people. There are people who are capable of murder, capable of psychotic breakdowns, capable of insanity. We have no control over their minds.

People need to learn to deal with life and let **** go. People get so pissed off and cry about the smallest thing. you cant even speak any more without offending people. just get a grip. The answere isnt gun control. you can take away all the guns and people will still find away to get guns and kill.

I think that it is true that nothing can stop these deranged people BUT a little stricter on buying guns COULD put a damper on the situation!!! BE AWARE of things and the people that are around YOU!!!!!!!!!!! AND take precautions .......whatever that u think in that gut feeling to take!!!!! LISTEN to your gut feeling bc it is usually right!!!!!!

Ban rich kids. Obviously the catalyst for this tragedy and the Columbine tragedy.
