    Why did we really invade Iraq? It kills me that I may not be alive long enough to find this out.

    I don't believe it was on a whim, to revenge a botched assassination attempt against his father, or because of WMDs. I am not cynical enough to believe it was for the oil. I hope it wasn't to create a battlefield 'over there' so we didn't have to fight them 'over here.' That would be an unforgivably horrible thing to do to the Iraqi people.

    There must be a reason.
