In Fable II I invested 5000 gold to Barnum in WestCliff, and I don't see him anymore?

Did he take my money and run? He said he's going to turn the place into some recreation area. It was hard earned gold by fighting at the crucible. I thought this retard will invest the money and I'll see returns everyday!!!

Any help?

    Nope, he calls when he's ready for you. Just check your quest log every so often and eventually you'll see it. You'll see one big return (and be able to buy property) after he calls for you, but not a moment before.
