I think it could be an old injury. as the result the nerves are probably tensed.

Physiotherapists and sport Physicians assess these kinds of situation better than chiropractors.

I suggest exercise. There are exercises to reduce pain & to distract the nerves systems from sending a message of pain to your brain. I would say try "pilates."

It is hard to tell. Have you changed jobs? Are you doing something different? Does hot showers help? Does pain medicine help? You could just be using parts of your body that you haven't used for awhile. You could have a pinched nerve. Drink a little red wine.

There is probably some pressure on a nerve. I get that in my lower back. Do some back stretches that stretch out your spinal cord. There are some pretty good examples on the internet if you google back exercises. One that is really good is to lay on your back and draw you knees up to your chest. I hope this helps....
