Wrestled, and Overcome

  • Does anyone know where I can sell old vinyl albums ?

Most all these are old. The records ( 33's ) are scratchless, and the covers are in fair shape. These are some of the records :

The Best Of Rod Stewart ( May, 1970 )

    Eric Clapton : SLOWHAND ( 1977 )

The Doobie Brothers : Minute By Minute ( 1975 )

    The Everyday People ( 1972 )

    Jermaine : Come Into My Life ( 1973 )

    Stevie Nicks : Bella Donna

    Journey : Departure ( 1980 )

    Steppenwolf : For Ladies Only ( 1971 )

Bob Seger ... The Silver Bullet Band: Stranger In Town ( 1978 )

    Peter Frampton: I'm In You ( 1977 )

    ect...ect...ect...

I bought a cardboard box of these at a yard sale, and want to find somewhere I can sell them ( about 50 albums ).

    Appreciate your input...

  • Is This Traditional Teaching ?

Greetings saints ! Bless Ya ! Here is the progression of events that will transpire shortly :

    1. Satan will be bound. This will happen through the Prayer Warriors.

    2. The powers of his followers will be bound. This will happen through the Prayer Warriors.

    3. The world will live in peace for a thousand years. The anointed saints will reign as Kings and Priests.

    4. Satan will be loosed again. This will be the beginning of the Tribulation.

    5. The abomination that maketh desolate will sit in the high seat. This is also the time the mark of the beast will be issued.

    6. Then comes the end, when Jesus comes for the great judgment.

    Peace and love...

  • Ditigal T.V..Converter box?

I have a problem. I hooked up the converter box and got a couple of channels, but didn't want to switch over yet, because I could get more channels on analog. So, I read the manual, and saw that I could switch it over through the box, but when I did, I lost the signal, and can't access the menu to switch it back. Any ideas ???

  • Electrical Problem ( enigma )...?

I have residential wiring knowledge, but am stumped on this, and need info. : A friends power went down. Inside the house the box was in bad shape, so, I replaced it. Re-wired all the circuits on breakers. There was only a neutral and one power supply coming from the disconnect outside, ( and had been working on 120 for years...). There was, on the disconnect area, all three wires, so, I connected all, and also in the house. One of the supply lines of the three has a green stripe, so, I used it for the ground. When all was hooked up, and the power thrown, there was power to only one bus bar. So, I disconnected one hot line inside and out, and had power to one bus bar. So, I moved all breakers to one side. Here is the Enigma : Have power to the main breaker, but when I throw it, suddenly there is no power to it, even from the supply. I throw it back off, and there is power to the main breaker terminal again. PLEASE, if you know what's up, I need the info ! Many thanks !

  • We must PRESS into the kingdom ?

In Luke 16:16 We read something Jesus said : The law and the prophets were until John : since that time, the Kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

Then, in Matthew 11:12 we read Jesus saying : And from the days of John the Baptist, until now, the Kingdom of heaven suffereth VIOLENCE, and the violent take it by force !

Well, I heard that all somebody has to do is say "I Believe" ...!

What's up with this ? These two scriptures seem to say that there is a STRUGGLE, a FIGHT...that must take place...!

So, what do you think ? Is there more....? We have to PRESS into the Kingdom ?

  • Every Thought ? Come on now...?

11 Corinthians 10:5 says ... Casting down IMAGINATIONS, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the KNOWLEDGE of God, and bring into captivity EVERY THOUGHT to the obedience of Christ ( the anointing ).

Surely this is a mis-print ! Surely we aren't supposed to actually CONTROL our thought patterns ! Every Thought ? Well, if so, no wonder so many "Christians" are going around in circles ! No wonder there isn't a constant "anointing" in their lives...

What do you think ? Are Christians supposed to control EVERY THOUGHT ?

  • In John 3:5, 6 ... we find the word " water " is this the same ?

John 3:5,6 ... Verily , verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh ; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Does this word " water " here mean the same as in this scripture ?

Ephesians 5:26 ... That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water, by, the Word.

Seeing this water...and Word...connects itself, does this give inclination that the "water" is a derivative of the Word, or, an essence ? And if so, the actual " revelation " of the Word ?

Above in verse 6, it says : that which is born of flesh is flesh ; and that which is born of Spirit is spirit.

Seeing this was to define the previous statement, doesn't that put the word " water " into a spiritual catagory, and not a natural ?

    Appreciate your input...

  • In Luke 8:11 ... are we seeing a pattern ?

As we look at the parable of Luke 8:4-8 we see seed being planted. According to verse 11 , we see that the seed is the Word of God. Is this the same seed as in 1st. John 3:9 and 1st. Peter 1:23 ? And does it correlate with James 1:21 and 22 ?

  • Does this scripture go along with 1st. John 3:9 and 1st. Peter 1:23 ?

John 3:3 ... Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily , verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

    3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago
  • Is this the " seed " of 1st Peter 1:23 ?

1st. John 3:9 ... Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin ; for his seed remaineth in him : and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

    2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago
  • Is this the meaning of " born again " ?

1st. Peter 1:23 ... Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, BY THE WORD OF GOD ...which liveth and abideth forever.

  • Revelation 8:10,11 ... Wormwood ?

And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters ; And the name of the star is called Wormwood : and the third part of the waters became wormwood ; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Most think this is a comet, or asteroid, but, have you ever considered it to be a nuclear warhead ?

  • Revelation 8:10,11 ... Wormwood ?

And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters ; And the name of the star is called Wormwood : and the third part of the waters became wormwood ; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Now knowing that what can be seen of the heavens (spiritually), is manifested in the spiritual ( Romans 1:20 ), and then manifested in the natural : If we look at the spiritual aspect of these verses then wouldn't it be a deceiving spirit, poisoning the "flow of waters" that come from man ?

  • Theological question about prophets...?

If a "prophet" prophesies from their own heart, will that prophesy still be honored by God ?

And, if so, does this hinder the workings of the Master Plan of the Lord ?
