What are you planning for Christmas dinner ?

Set up the dinning area to look like christmas. (Christmas table cloth, tinsel and decorations). Cook dinner. This is for 7 people so you won't need a huge amount. Perhaps have two main dishes and two desserts. Perhaps a Ham and roast turkey served with roast vegies. For dessert a pavlova served with fruit salad and a cheese cake. Hope it turns out well.

My turn this year, so it's a family meal at home for 8 which will be traditional, a light home made soup, Roast Turkey and Pork with all the trimmings and Christmas pudding - which I made yesterday.There won't be any young children present but we will still have crackers and silly hats

A family meal which will be

Roast turkey

roast and mashed potatoes, roasted parsnips

sprouts, carrots

sausage meat

sausage wrapped in bacon

and of course sage and onion stuffing

Gravy

Followed by xmas pud and brandy sauce or icecream

And lots of wine to swill down :)

Family Meal, so far I have Blue Cheese puffs (they are like rolls only light and moist, yum yum) and Almond cake in crust on the menu, still looking for a good meat and side options...thinking asparagus, caesar salad, and maybe a beef roulade....or something like that. Maybe a goose or duck too, haven't tried my hand at them yet.

Family meal, I hate leaving the house on xmas day.

Funny though, there is this dodgy skinhead pub near my friends house who have their xmas menu displayed on the outside - one of the main courses is Chicken Kiev with minted potatoes!

Meal at home with the family, will probably have turkey and all the trimmings,followed by xmas pud for me and hubby and vienetta for kids.i sometimes wish I could have a meal out but prices are so high I don't think it's worth it.

It will be family meal...we need to get thanksgiving over first though..

chocolate pie

key lime pie maybe a pumpkin w cool whip..lol

Traditional christmas roast dinner with all the trimmings I have been to a restaurant at Christmas and it is not the same I would never do it again.
