HOT DOG STAND ! I live in a small town ( 12,000 ) people . 40,ooo in the whole county...?
What kind of a population do need for a sucessful Hot Dog stand... I live in the south . Winter would not be to much of a factor .

So much depends on presentation, advertising, etc. Do you have a gimmick? Why would I want to purchase/eat your hot dogs over some one else's hot dogs? Can you tie into community events? Would the chamber of commerce and merchant community back your efforts? Will you meet the health codes? Have you thought about test-marketing your idea by trying out sales at festival/craft events? Do you meet people easily, or do you glower at people?
Wish you luck. Our family is doing something similar, just not hot dogs, and we find ourselves answering all the above quesitons.
