When should I workout?

I have a weird schedule and I tend to be a night-owl. I don't want to do it to late so I stay up later but I need most of my adrenaline between 2 and 6pm. Anybody find a schedule that works for them?

My Schedule

545am wake up/shower/get ready

615 kid's up for school

7 to 9:45 breakfast and schoolwork for preschooler

9:50 to 10:30 morning walk(but I have to walk with a three yr old and a stroller(so it's not a workout)

10:45 to 11:00 morning snack and prepare lunch

11:00 to 12:00 school work

12:00 to 12:30 lunch

12:30 to 1:00 reading

1:00 kids nap I clean up

2:00 get pm snack and dinner started

3:00 pick up kids from school

4:00 do homework

5:00 start dinner and cleanup/play games

6:00 eat and do dishes

7:00 collapse and watch TV

8:00 read and bedtime and talk with hubby

9:00 to midnight is my freetime all to myself(should I do it then or is it too late?

Update:

by playing games I should have said indoor and outdoor. Board games etc. Let the kids ride bikes etc.

So far thanks for the tips!

Okay.. 12.30-1.00 do some then, maybe if you have an exercvise bike read while your on it? Same with 7.00 watching tv, if you own the equiptment at home, do it in front of this (or sittups etc). Maybe jog to pick up your kids if they're close enough, and instead of playing games, take them to the park or for a swim. Hope this helps :)

Work out instead of clean during your kids nap at 1.

Maybe twice a week have your kids go to a friends house instead of picking them up from school. You could switch off with another mom. Or they could take the bus home.

Do you rally need an hour to get a pm snack going at 2:00? You have 4 hours between 1 and 5 that are negotiable activities.

    Its all about priorities.

Since you are so busy, I wouldn't try to block off a whole hour for working out. I would sneak in 10-15 minutes throughout the day. It is just as effective to work out in short spurts as it is to work out continuously. If fact some people think working out shorter, but more frequently is better for weight loss. So when they are eating do some push-ups/sit-ups. Then after you give them a snack jump rope for 10, etc. It seems like you are really busy and active all day, so I wouldn't go overboard, you don't want to wear yourself out!

ok, since you apparently schedule evreything daily the I would suggest working out between 6:30-7:30pm. I don't know hold old your kids are; but if you have 1 old enough they can do the dishes after dinner so You can work out. If none are old enough then your husband can do them. You can collapse at 7:30pm to either waych TV or read.

Either at 4am, 9pm or lunch time I would suggest cutting out dinner to lose more weight.

do it on the time to yourself. That way it is easier because you wont be interrupted. Make sure not to eat after you workout, if it is necessary to, just eat small snack.
