13 year old girl stoned to death in Somalia!?
The BBC news reported that a 13 year old girl was stoned to death in somalia for commiting Adultery. She was buried uup to her neck in a hole, and 50 men stoned her to death while another 1,000people looked on. She was pulled out during this barbaric ritual and pronounced dead, but was then put back in the hole for the stoning to continue. Is this Sharia Law?
In Sharia Law, to prove she has been raped a woman must have another woman as a witness to the offence. Do you call that Justice in these modern times?

All in the name of religion. How can anyone who calls themselves a civilised human being condone such a barbaric act.
Do you think that as the stones rained down upon her young head that she may have momentarily questioned her faith?
Those responsible for committing such a coldblooded act of savagery should be brought to justice and punished in a similar fashion .

the question was on here earlier, which many answered, also was she not a rape victim as well, and apparently yes she was condemned by Sharia Law, some aspects we have in UK, whoever said this should be here must be more than just mad.

News that a 13-year-old girl has been stoned for adultery in Somalia, after reporting that she had been raped, is a chilling and outrageous violation of human rights and Islamic law. CNN reports that Aisha Ibrahim Duhulow was stoned to death last Monday in Kismayo, southern Somalia, after being convicted of adultery by the "Islamic militia" currently in control of the city.
Was Islamic law to blame for this child's torture? Or rather was it a product of the violent, impoverished environment of this particular country, which has been ruled by competing warlords since 1991?

An Islamic court in Nigeria yesterday upheld a sentence of death by stoning for a woman accused of adultery. The case is the latest in a series of sentences passed under sharia law - a set of religious laws adopted over the past two years in northern regions of Nigeria, which have predominantly Muslim inhabitants.
Sharia law, which derives from the teachings of the Koran and from Sunna (the practice of the prophet Mohammed), is implemented to varying degrees in different Islamic countries - from the beheadings of Saudi Arabia, to the relatively liberal social mores of Malaysia

These People are barbaric, and its time they got themselves into the 21st Century. At thirteen years old, and they say she commited Adultery, what a farce, Its a wonder if she knew the meaning of the word, and the person she was supposed to have been with.... what about him ? But of course as usual he will get away with it, like they do here.Of course she had to pay the penalty.

More religious crap. The poor unfortunate child buried up to her neck, and why to the neck,so her chest isn't vi sable. When a male is convicted they are buried to the waist and if escape whilst being stoned are deemed innocent.Hows that for fairness, makes we feel disgusted to to be called a man if that's the idea of manhood.Sick, sick, sick religious brain dead scorpions, crawl back to the desert and try again.

Yes, that's a part of Sharia law.
Islam is a religion rooted in misogyny.
Facts - a man is allowed up to 4 wives at a time and is allowed to divorce any one of them by saying, ' I divorce you ' 3 times - and he doesn't pay alimony. If a man finds on his wedding night that his wife was not a virgin, he tells her family & quite often her own father & brothers will murder her for dishonoring the family. A woman's testimony in court is worth half of a man's. If a woman wants to bring a charge of rape, she has to have a female eyewitness ; exceedingly rare.
Those are just some glaring examples.
Islam is NOT a religion of peace.

Just another thing that makes me sure that ALL religion is wrong. Every war that has ever been has been started by religion for some reason or other.
I know I will get thumbs down for daring to say religion is wrong but I don't care. My opinion was asked for & I gave it.
Bear in mind, this is the law that religious leaders are trying to make legal in Britain. If it gets made legal there will be stonings in the high street of every city, town & village up & down the country.
Is that what you want to see on a Saturday afternoon shopping trip?

What astounds me is that you have made what is nothing less than a casual enquiry, without expressing any distress, horror, or outrage that such an atrocity was committed to any human being, let alone a child. The lack of empathy in your question is in itself distressing.

alex B - It isn't funny. She was gang raped by three men and, when she reported it, she was stoned to death for adultery. She was a child.
This isn't any kind of law. It the result of sick, twisted minds.
