You're right Quagmire is a really funny character and I would have bet money that he would be given his own show. It doesn't look like that's ever going to happen though. It's actually Cleveland who is getting his own show. I saw an interview with the creator Seth MacFarlane and he said they thought about it for Quagmire but the usual plot lines explored in the shows would have been too difficult. He said there could never have the character learning his lesson or sorry about his actions or anything like that because it just would go against the Quagmire character. Quagmire is just Quagmire, giggity giggity., OH yeah!
